overall aim is to promote and support youth work in a way that brings
about positive social change. Now operating as Boomerang Youth Service
& Caf? it provides a range of Recreational Educational and Specialist
Supports to young people and their families
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The purpose of the _STUDIO SOUNDS PROGRAMME_ is to use music as a
vehicle to engage young people in a journey of self-discovery and
growth which will cover various elements of music development and also
the core elements of youth work
As the Lead Youth Worker in the Music Team, you will be key in
ensuring young people have access to an exciting and creative
programme, that will be challenging, stimulating, fun, engaging and
developmental and enables young people to explore their creativity and
grow their skills
ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* A relevant Third Level Qualification in Youth Work with primary
interest in Music Development
* It is highly desirable that the applicant displays current or
previous experience of work in the music trade/industry
* A minimum of 1 year relevant youth work experience
